About

Having started painting in her early 20s, Laura Schoditsch is an autodidact.

Both, the artistic journey she has travelled so far and her current (and presumably future) one are cyclical in nature:
Searching, finding, loving deeply, discarding, searching again.

Eventually, this journey may lead to something that can be said to be beautiful, fashion resistant, something that is well made and aesthetically bearable for a long time and ultimately does what art is supposed to do: To touch that sphere of human existence that the mind is unable to touch.

‘None of this can be said of my work to date, but I am looking for ways and I hope to find them.’ - L.S.
